Blazing Star Farm: Nature Block Prints
Our nature block prints highlight Block island's unique fish, flowers, birds, insects, shells, and sealife. New additions are made to the series each season.
These original prints show the beautiful details of each subject and include an informative written description of its habitat and ecological significance on Block Island. The scientific name is also handwritten on the corner of each print.
Each handprinted linocut (a print made from a linoleum block) is printed on thai unryu paper which is a strong but translucent material with mulberry fibers running through it. A rainbow of colors is available including: green mist, cream, pale blue, taupe, grey, casaba yellow, and white.
All prints are 8'x10" (exterior dimensions) and are available matted for $30 each or $25 each if you buy more than one.
Framed prints are available for $48 each in matte black or natural ash wooden frames.
