Blazing Star Farm: Free-Range Eggs
Our organic eggs are produced by our happy, free-range hens. Their mobile chicken coop home is always on the move to provide them with fresh forage.
We feed our chickens anly certified organic grain - free of hormones, antibiotics, and GMOs.
Our fresh eggs are available by the dozen or half-dozen year-round:
From mid-June through October, they are at the Block Island Farmers' Market twice weekly.

Feeling strongly about keeping heritage livestock breeds from extinction, these birds comprise most of our flock. We have:
Barred Rocks (brown eggs)
Rhode Island Reds (brown eggs)
Araucana (blue-green eggs)
Welsummers (dark brown eggs)
Black Stars (brown eggs)
