Blazing Star Farm: Free-Range Eggs
Our organic eggs are produced by our happy, free-range hens. Their mobile chicken coop home is always on the move to provide them with fresh forage.
We feed our chickens certified organic grain - free of hormones, antibiotics, and GMOs. They also eat clover and pasture grasses as well as produce from the farm. They love bruised strawberries and cracked tomatoes!
Our fresh eggs are available by the dozen or half-dozen year-round:
From mid-June through October, they are at the Block Island Farmers' Market twice weekly or as an addition to a CSA share.

Feeling strongly about keeping heritage livestock breeds from extinction, these birds comprise most of our flock. We have:
